1997 jeep manifold glowing red ?

I have checked the cat converter , the o2 sensor ,they are good , the timeing seemes to be ok the Idel is ok , some times Iget an off the wall spuder ,Im getting a code that is telling me it is running to rich and some times it will give me a code that it is to lean
 
your cars running extremely rich if your manifolds glowing it means your most likely getting raw fuel into it and its igniting in it. try checking for leaking injectors. the reason u may occasionally get a lean code is because if raw fuel hits an O2 sensor it reports as lean rather than rich. You want to fix this asap or your going to be spending big money on cat etc.
 
When raw fuel hits an o2 sensor it does not read the fuel as lean........if you have raw fuel going into your exhaust it means there is no ignition (weather it be fuel fouled or not) so with no ignition you have a cylinder fully charged with oxygen (because there was no combustion which uses oxygen) going into the exhaust.....there for a lean code can be set......but that still means you have raw fuel going into your exhaust also which can cause the manifold to glow.
