I have a 1997 jeep grand Cherokee, and i brought it and the same day drove it about 60 miles, and it was doing fine other than a the interior lights fading in and out. I woke up the next morning and it wouldnt start, there was no ticking just like it was trying to start. So i opened the hood and the surpentine belt was ate up bad. I dont know why it wont crank. If i press and hold the gas it will start, but once i let go of the gas it turns right back off. any help?
