1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee VS 1995 Nissan Pathfinder?

Me and a buddy have to settle a debate. Which car is ultimately better; My 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee or his 1995 Nissan Pathfinder

1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee; 5.2l V8 Engine 4x4
or
1995 Nissan Pathfinder; 3l V6 Engine 4x4
 
Stock or nearly stock I'd go with the Jeep. Only place the pathfinder has you beat is in fuel mileage(usually not that great there either) and it;s possibly slightly quieter going down the road. Plus there are more mods in the aftermarket for your rig, Be warned if you lift it a bunch and put 35" or larger tires on it you WILL eventually overstress and break your axles and possibly your transmission and transfer case.
