This does not happen all of the time, but, while driving the engine will spit and sputter and my rpms will drop to zero and the Jeep will die. Sometimes it will not give any warning and just die (no spitting or sputtering, like I just turned the key off). I have replaced the cat, pickup coil, feul pump, ignition switch and changed all plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Also it will not send a "check engine" light or any other lights for that matter. Another thing it does is while getting onto the highway and I am trying to get it above 60 it will sputter and shake for a time period, and smell like cat exhaust, then will sometimes just go away and drive fine. It currently has 190,000 miles. Please help this is the vehicle I need to take my children to school and I also need it for school. Thank you in advance for any and all help.
