1997 Honda Passport Problem?

My battery does not charge and the transmission, battery light is coming on when I brake. I have also noticed that the dash fan does not work anymore. However when I accelerate these lights turn off not having any positive effect on the charging system. I'm fairly sure the alternator is working, but something electronic died. This all happened when I towed a heavy load in a trailor about thirty miles warming everything up. After this all hell broke lose. Any suggestions on where to start.
 
I say try to get a new car lol. But no seriously it sounds like you put the engine through too much stress while towing. This could have caused way, way too much stress on the electronics causing one of them to fail. I suggest getting a shop manual and look over your electronics system.

I had a 97 Passport supped up lol
Ok bout ur battery getting drained ur gonna have to buy a new alternator & battery
U can get it checked at a napa advance or autozon pepboys etc...........
check ur fuses also u might have a blown 1
Another thing is when u haul heavy loads u have to have the 4x4 on
if on 2wd to much strain so use 4x4

But ill say TAKE it n get it check(alternator)
then to a special import shop
