1997 honda civic problem?

when the car is cold it runs find but as soon as it gets warm it starts loosing power and then it starts knocking on the drivers side of the motor at a high rpm and then you got to keep your foot on the gas for it to idle
 
There is probably a sensor that has gone bad. Take it to an auto parts place that offers free computer diagnostics.
