I have 1997 Honda Accord EX 4 cylinder car. It has 150,000 miles on it. I am not sure about whether previous owners have replaced timing belt or not. Is there any indication of bad health of the timing belt? Can I visually insepect timing belt for its condition? If any of the previous owner has replaced timing belt then I don't need to replace it for another 20,000 miles. Not sure what to do?
There is no way of contacting previous owners(3 owners. I am 4th). If timing belt slips due to wear, can we hear it? Any kind of weard noise from belt or engine?
