I own a 1997 Ford F150 Extended cab and decided to put in some new speakers in. I went and bought some 6X8 Pioneer speakers (From Walmart, I hated doing it but around where I live its about the only place to buy them). After I put them in I started them up. I could only turn up the radio to about halfway on the factory radio before it would start distort. I got my multimeter out and realized that the originals were 6 ohms and the new ones where 4 ohms. (The box said to replace factory speakers for 1997 f150 :/ ) Anyway.... IS there anyway to fix this easily?
