1997 Dodge Avenger w/117,000 miles and is $2500 a good buy?

I am looking at getting a 1997 dodge avenger, it looks to be in fantastic shape. It has 117,000 miles on it. It is selling for $2500. How much longer will the car last without any problems if it is in pretty good shape. Is this a good buy?
 
it will last a little while longer ,my neighbor has one with well over 190 thousand on it and its still running real good,all they do to it is regular oil changes,it has had one transmission put in it though,but still for an older car its held up really good,that's not to good of a price on that one though its actually worth about 1500-2000 tops in real good condition,so id try and get the price down a little if possible,other wise if it runs and drives real good it should last you a long time.good luck,hope it works out for you.
