I have a 97 4dr tahoe thats 4wd. Im wantin to do a solid axle swap on it as the front end tore up, axles bearings and freont diff all destroyed. so i figured instead of spendin all the money on fixin it ill do an SAS and not have to fix it again. I have a complete 1977 ford Dana 44 driver side drop front end with radius arms with 6" drop brackets 6" Skyjacker coils all steerin linkage and all coil mount brackets and everything. everything is still on the 77 but the body and motor are shot on it so i wont fix it. how difficult would it be for me to swap all that to my 97 tahoe? and also what would cause excessive amount of water to be sent into the motor to where its a lot of water vapor constantly coming out the exhaust and black smoke out the exhaust?
