i recently had the changed motor out on 97 chevy express 1500 van and now only heater works on defrost only. no a/c no nothing. everything worked fine before. i located the vacuum harness by passenger foot and all colored hoses there are fine. where does this "vacuum" start and is there a "test" i can do by either sucking or blowing on a certain hose to make vacuum? also the fan blower only works on high. i replaced the resistor pack thinking that was the sure problem but still nothing. any help will be appreciated. thanks in advance
when u say firewall, what exactly do u mean? im not too familiar with autos and ive been researching online about this so when u say the firewall do i need to remove the doghouse ? if so what am i looking for? evrything is black hoses black wires black harnesses. i saw one online post that says to remove air filter housing and follow the hose . is that where the vacuuming begins?
