1997 cadillac sts coolant leaks?

I have a 1997 Cadillac STS Seville Sedan. The engine coolant leaks so I have to refill it about once a week. It is a hassle because sometimes it just lacks power. I'm not sure if lack of power has anything to do with the coolant leak but I'd sure like to know what's causing it. Right now i'm thinking of replacing the alternator, battery, and the starter.

Any answers/tips/suggestions are much appreciated.
Is there any way of replacing the whole system ? without getting a new engine
