1996 Honda Accord LX 2.2L,Air-conditoning!?

The question is,does this car have a different type of low side freon fitting.I have a R12,R22,R-134a pressure gauge and it will not fit on the low side fitting,I cant check the pressure!It was the low side,it was the smaller one with a blue cap L on it.
