my t-bird has been sitting for 8 months. replaced a leaking intake manifold with an aftermarket "dorman" intake.also had the battery out for about 6 months.got it all back together and running but a lot of hesitation upon throttle response although it seems to idle fine.replaced all spark plugs,new orings on injectors,a lot of throttle body cleaner.this is the 4.6 v8 version. i am wondering if the computer is just not fully reset.it doesnt seem to have a vacuum leak at all.i have owned this beauty for 11 years and love my t-bird.if anyone can give some advice it would surely be appreciated. also this car does not burn any oil and has 174000 miles on the odometer.
