I have a 96 ford ranger, 4 cyl, and the A/C (when turned on) causes the battery light to stay on.. When the battery light comes on then it stops the belt completley sometimes.. Causing the a/c, fan, power steering pump from spinning... The whole belt freezes... I replaced the A/C and still same problem..
When I turn on the A/C, the belt freezes and battery light comes on till I turn the A/C off. What could be the problem?

THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THE A/C turned on....
