Hello, I got my license about a month ago and I am now looking for a cheap but yet reliable car to buy. I found a 1996 Dodge Stratus for $1800 with 137k miles on it. Is this a good deal? The car looks to be in good shape but the only thing that is holding me back is the miles on the car. Is 137k too much? How many miles can the car take assuming that it has been maintained pretty well by the previous owner? My dad wants to buy a Japanese car for me because he says that they can take the most miles. Do you think this Dodge can match up with a Toyota or Honda? Thanks.
