1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Opinion?

I recently purchased a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 reg cab short box, with a 5.9 magnum V8. Now it's got about 250,000Km on it and it seems a bit tired for my liking. Any opinions on what engine to put in it that will really buck!!!???? The more specific the better. Thanks to all answers.
 
good motor in it already if the motor is worn out have it replaced or rebuilt , it's a strong motor
