i have a 1996 chrysle concorde. one day it started overheating after 20 minutes of driving so i talked to some friends who are good with cars and they looked it over. they didnt notice any leaks and they replaced the thermostat. the problem continued now. yesterday it started burning coolant (smelled real bad) then he engine shook and jus shut down. when we pushed it into a parking lot we realized all the coolant leaked out. now the car wont start. i need help, should i get a new car or fix it? what could the problem be?

this is a great car. if the miles are not very high it is worth fixing, i know someone who got over 300,000 miles out of theirs. i think that you probably have a cracked head, it does not always leak at initial crack. depending on where you live and who you take it to fix it may cost you an arm and a leg. if you can find a mechanic that works side jobs and used parts you will come out on top of this
