i am looking at 2 used cars today, probably also buying my first used car today. the problem is i dont know much about cars. i am 19 and have a part time job, so this is all i have to put into the vehicle. i will be looking at a 1996 Chevy Blazer. and i will also go look at a 1993 Honda Accord LX. The question is, how good/bad is the Blazer on gas? can i afford it with my part time job?
The Accord is 1993 LX and only has 83,000 miles on it which i thought was pretty good. It also seems as if it gets good mileage.
few things to know-
i live in new england so it snows during the winter.
and i will mostly use the car for taking to work and going to friends houses
i like the idea of an SUV because of the roominess, but dislike it because of the MPG's. is the 96' Blazer a hard car to maintain? how bout the honda? does the honda have a/c in it? i heard the didnt manufacture a/c in the 93 accord, but i could be, mistaken.
i appreciate any help, after all you guys are pretty much choosing my first car for me.
