one cylinder? was driving through the channel WOT, boat or motor has never given me a problem, hit a big bump and boat died, wouldnt start at idle had to raise throttle in neutral to start, check for all the common things (spark, fuel, etc.) everything checked out good. would idle and drive really rough. checked compression and top 2 were at 125 psi, third one was 150 psi and the bottom one was zero. broken ring? bad reed? why would it do it all of a sudden after a big wave or a coincidence?
