1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L Oil - 10W-30 or 10W-40?

Hello there, I was wondering what oil is best to run in my Jeep 4.0L; 10W-30 or 10W-40.
I do some occasional off roading as well as towing. I live in a fairly warm climate and would think that the thicker oil would be better for the engine.
I just changed the oil and put in Mobil 1 10W-40 synthetic High Mileage (it does have 151,000 miles on it).
Is this oil a good oil to use in the summertime?

wow very nice to have that many miles but yes that will do just fine. take care of that engine cuz with that many miles it'll be hard on her.
