I have a 1995 Jeep GC Laredo, with over 200,000 miles on it (i know it's a lot) ...and i have just recently been having this problem. It has an automatic transmission and a straight 6. anyway - when i first start driving forward, it accelerates, then doesn't, then accelerates, then doesn't, then accelerates, then doesn'...etc...until about 25 MPH 0r 3000 rpms, then it is smooth sailing. . . .everytime i come to a stop - it does it again until 25 mph / 3000 rpms....i have learned a trick to over come this - and that is to start driving it in D2, then when it hits 2500rpms, shift into drive....this of course is only a very temporary solution, cause i want to know what to fix....
has anyone had this problem, or a similar problem? the trans. fluid is fine, not burnt and is full...i need to change the oil in my car, but other than that - it has been fine....
what do you think i need to look at/do?
thanks
