1995 Ford Taurus, 4 times a year the thermostat goes out?

It sounds like the radiator is plugged up. Take your car to a radiator shop and get the radiator back flushed and filled with new anti-freeze.

About 4 years ago I had the head gaskets fixed. Ever since then I keep having problems with the car over heating, and have to get a new thermostat. Any ideas why? This is driving me nuts.

you must be getting hold of poor quality thermostats. get a good 1 like NAPA or stant.
