1995 Ford F-150 Shift and Brake Light Problem?

I've got a 95 F-150 4x4. I got in some mud last night and now my abs light fllashes, and when I start my truck the shift lever wont move out of park, but if I turn the key one click and put it in neutral then start it, it shifts into all gears fine but when I go back into park I have to turn it off and put it in neutral again, also my brake lights aren't working and I changed the fuse so it isn't that?? Any help gets 10 pts.. Thanks
