Less than 12 months ago I had my transmission rebuilt and it started to slip. I replaced the filter and oil and it ran fine for almost a week Now it is slipping again. Is there an adjustment that needs to be made to fix this problem. I cannot afford another $1800.00 tranny this year and I need to fix this for a very low cost.

I suppose the rebuilt tranny u have now is out of the warranty. If so, u're stuck with it, and the only thing u can do is to try some additive from car quest or advance parts stores... If after adding anti-slip additive u're tranny acts the same way is nothing else u can do but replacing the tranny again.
How was the fluid when u replaced it? Was it dark and smelling burnt? Were any impurities on the pan, such as small pieces of clutch discs? If yes, there is no way to fix it with just adding a tranny-slip fix additive.
Sorry, hope is not the case.

some of the dodge/chrysler/plymouth minivans used a "viscosity-modified" tranny fluid only avaliable from a dealer. Its a little thicker than the stuff sold by parts stores.

Sounds like you got jacked and should have took it up with the rebuild shop back when it happened.

As of now your only hope might be the special fluid from the dealership.
