Well. I got this 1995 Dodge Neon recently, and when I turn the volume up, to about, 20/46? On loud parts the sound cuts off completely, and all you hear is a crackling. I just installed a new CD-deck, because, there was a tape deck there, in which the radio didn't work, period. But, everything works fine, but when it hits something loud, it just goes really quiet for a second or two, and comes back.

... Another thing, if anyone wants to answer this one, call it a bonus, but when I go from neutral to drive, my car "Jumps" forward, even with the brake held down, but it wont do it when I go from neutral to reverse. My mechanic told me I need a near rear transmission mount, however, he only looked at it for like... 3 minutes. Anyone else ever have a problem like that?
Yes. I did get the trunk leak. I cleaned it out, no idea what to do from there. Did you ever figure out what the problem was? Because I have no idea. It hasn't come back yet.

I'm curious if you've gotten the trunk leak yet. Since it's used, the previous owner might have sealed it but I got a '96 and a friend had the same year and both had that issue.

But as for your issue, I've had frequent shortouts with the radio in more recent years. A mechanic once told me it was a factory flaw and that his wife who drove the same thing had issues like that.

That's what we get for an American car with fairly decent fuel efficency.

I'm pretty sure your transglomerator is locked in the preset, "Conjunctional Transfusion Override", a state in which your particular model of craft is not fully attuned to. Try to inject a mold of intradermal bacteria into your Homogeneous Intermolecular Canape Hatch, that should trigger the Miljolgnyir effect, rendering your "Tape Deck" at least 98.76543R% functional

As for your "Engine", did you put a viable source of carbon in the burn chamber?

im pretty sure the deck is overpowering the speakers...try replacing the stock speakers with aftermarket ones...oh and i wish i could help you with your transmission problem but i dont know much about transmissions
