the temperature sensor was bad, so i replaced it with a new aftermarket one *direct fit, its made for what i did only to have a cool gauge* i put antifreeze in and the water. i had a bad camshaft sensor and i got it replaced. but the part store told me i had to change the harness. so i did. then the fun stuff started to happen. it almost doesnt start, i have to pump the gas. and when it does start and idle it as at 1G exactly. when i turned my lights on it went down to 500 rpm then up to 1500rpm then back to 1. also the fan came on as soon as the car started. and stayed on. when i took it for a drive i was steady at 10mph then when i let off the gas it almost died then went up to 1500rpm again then back to 1000. i went on highway pushed the gas all the way down then it stalled, i let off then instantly pushed back down and it took off like it should. then i was driving normally and the car died while i was on the highway. please help. bad plugs? bad 02 sensor? bad injector? i just put a new fuel pump in btw.
or do i have the wires on the sensor backwards?
and i dont think it is a sensor for my 95. because this one is white and the factory one is black. and i dont see why i would have to change the harness if it was a direct replacement .
i just took the plugs out and they look like crap. black and burnt looking. i also noticed one plug has a + sign and another has a - sign. then the other two dont have anything.
im going to get new plugs in the morning and im resetting the computer on the neon. gonna work on it in the morning.
