My answer before was...
if it just did this all the sudden take the starter off and check it they will lock up sometimes and cause this too happen,when they do go out al the sudden like that all you get is hard knock sound from it,most auto parts stores will check it for free if you can get it off and get it to them,good luck.
I took the starter off and got it tested and it was good. What other problems could it possibly be I tried jumping it and nothing. Just one loud click and that is it could it be electrical like fuses or connection or is the motor shot.
