1994 suzuki sidekick starting problems?

Ok i have a
1994 suzuki sidekick jx
5 speed
4 door
4x4
1.6 L
16 valve

it is having problems starting and what ever it is keeps killing my brand new starters (life time warranty) in about 5 months time
problem is when i turn the key you can hear a click and then nothing else
Sometimes it will start first try and sometimes i have to keep turning the key sometimes 20-30 times before the engine will try to kick over

does any one have any ideas what is going on and why my starters keep dying any help would be great

The starter on these vehicles are notoriously crappy.Get on the web site for TrailTough or roadless gear and look for what's called a 'clicky starter fix'. Costs less than 20 dollars and is quick and easy to install.

your dumb a sidekick isn't a car it's a phone. :D jk jk I've heard that if your wiring from your battery is wrong it can do that. Try looking into that.
 
Sounds like the key switch to me. Like it doesn't make the connection properly and then doesn't disengage if it does. the starter might be staying engaged while you are driving.Just a possibility.
