Can someone please tell me what would be the likely cause of the weird sound I heard this morning when I started driving my jeep. I have 1993 Jeep cherokee sport 4wd. The temperatures are well below freezing these days and as soon as I started my car (after getting my engine warm for sometime) I heard a big cracking sound when my car just went over a small speed breaker. My speed would have been 5-10 mph at that time. Since then as I am sitting in my car I can hear pressing sound from the rear side of my car. Please can anyone suggest me what is happening? Is it the cold temperatures that is causing all this or something is broke?
