1994 Honda Shadow - No [pressure in front brake system after replacing pads. Help!?

My front pads were worn low, so I decided to replace them myself. I removed the front caliper, used a c-clamp to compress the pistons, replaced the pads, and then bled the brakes. There was good pressure in the system, but it made the pads stick to the disc. I removed the pads again and compressed the pistons more for more clearance. When all was re-installed there is no pressure whatsoever in the brake system. How could this happen? Did i dmage the master cylinder somehow? please help.
