I have a 1994 accord with a new issue. This issue only occurs sometimes and I can go for days with out seeing it. When the issue is occuring the car struggles for power, bucks/ vibrates like its fighting to stall (you can feel this bucking through the entire car), and it feels like it was to just turn off with no power. I could pull over .. sit for a second and then it drives good again. I have read similar posts about blockage in the exhaust.. however, I want to see if there are other possibility that can create this effect.
yes the check engine light has come on. I get code 6 and 12. 6 ect (cooling sensor), and 12 EGR valve. Both of which I am going to replace. but nothing for fuel pump.
I went a Honda shop today and they couldn't figure it out because they couldn't get it to reproduce it. I am telling you.. it chooses when to act up. So common sense your way out of my question. As for the Cat Converter.. that is a possibility and I am going to test it this weekend..
fuel filter is new...
