first remove radiator cap and fill there crank motor with cap off add more coolant as It needs watch the flow of coolant til you see stream or coolant is warm to touch watch the flow if you see big bubbles just might be head gasket you can find most car repairs online how you can type into search box
how to check a over heating car
how to check a radiator
how to do a radiator pressure check
how to compression check motor

if you see no leaks and you have check really good most likely thats what it will be but first fil radiator and watch flow and what ever repair info you need type it in how to (replace, check repair)name of part name of car and sometimes if you want add video to end of it like
how to check compression video
how pressure check radiator video
and you watch guage if it drops you will know

My ford ranger is going through alot of antifreeze- about 100 miles and the reservour is empty. I can't find a leak anywhere. I have heat in the truck and the truck isn't overheating. The temperature gauge goes whacky when I am running out of/out of radiator fluid but it doesn't overheat. There is some kind of water trickle noise on the passenger's side by the dashboard- can't figure out what that is either and the check engine light is on. I know it needs new valve gaskets because they are leaking oil. Does the truck need a new headgasket as well?Any ideas?
