i have a 1994 ford mustang and it is nice clean runs great but the only problem is that it only will go up to 50 mph and i think its the computer chip if what is it? and ho much will it coast?
That's the top speed a 94 Mustang can go.

You need to make sure your vehicle's transmission upshifts when the RPM reaches red line.
A 94 Mustang has 4 sp auto. Thus, from 0 to top speed, you should be able to hear the gear shifts three times. If not, the problem is in your transmission.
