I am currently doing a complete trans swap taking my 94 Aode trans and replacing it with a 95 Aode fully rebuilt trans. During the teardown of the 94 trans i got everything ready to come off all i had left was the T/C nuts. Got first off no problem the second one began to strip off. I am using a 14mm socket that fits perfectly acoording to specs got all other T\C nuts off but the one, it totally stripped off. What can i do to get it off without causing damage to the T\C stud? Will i have to just buy another T\C and remove the stripped nut aggressivly?
