My 1994 Ford E350 5.8L hesitates. When I first start the engine it runs normal.
The warmer the engine gets the worse it becomes.
I've given it a tune up (plugs, wires, distributor, PCV Valve, coil, and fuel filter).
It has $154,000 miles and the check engine light is not on.
Somebody on here said it could be the remotely mounted thick film ignition module (TFI). The engine will seem sluggish or "break up" when they get hot. How much is a new TFI and can it be done without going to a garage?
