My 1994 Ford Bronco with the 5.0 cranks over but will not start. I pulled a plug and plug wire and I know that I am getting spark. The Bronco will start sometimes when cold. It will only start the first time I try it when the engine is cold. If I don't get it started the first or second time that I try then it will just crank over after that and not even try and fire. The first and second time it will try and fire. If I do get it started, then it seems to run fine. It never has died on me or even chugged at all after I get it started. After I run it for a while and shut it off and try and start it again, it just cranks over but doesn't even try and start. I know that when I turn the key into the second position I can hear the buzzing coming from the fuel tank. I am getting some of the following codes,
636 : Transmission Fluid Temp (TFT) high or low
211 : Profile Ignition Pickup (PIP) circuit failure
121 : Closed throttle voltage high or low
Please help.
If it had something to do with the fuel pump or fuel filter, then it wont run good when I get it started. Right?
It just doesn't make sense to me that it will not start but then runs fine when started.
