I have a 1994 Dodge Intrepid 3.3l in need of help from someone familiar with a/c systems. Basically when I press the a/c button sometimes the clutch works fine sometimes it doesn't if you leave the switch on the sometimes engages and it starts blowing cold then goes out it could run for 5 min or 50min never know.
When it does come on its Ice cold. I can run 12v right to the clutch and it works every time blows ice cold.
I have checked for power at the relay, checked relay, checker wire to pcm all good. I have replace the a/c compressor and expansion valve and drier, charged with 2 1/4 cans of r134a. Pressure reads 34 when clutch is cycling on low side. Checked voltage on pressure transducer 4.9 volts in an 4.62 volts across leads.
It basically just seems to work when it wants
Any one have any ideas besides taking it to a repair shop.
