Driving me crazy. here are the symptoms: #1 No reverse lights and Truck only starts in Neutral. (replaced the park safety switch on the transmission and didn`t change anything)(also found a linkage plastic bearing that had popped out giving the linkage all sorts of play. It clicked back into place) . #2 Brake lights do not work (the middle one on the tailgate works only). #3 headlights and tail lights work. #4 hazzards do not work. the only thing I can get them to do is if the headlights are on the brake lights both go bright but do not flash (replaced flasher). #5 Turn signals do nothing. No relay click, nothing. (replaced flasher as well).
Some notes: I have already replaced the multi-function switch and the ignition switch. All Flashers and relays on the fuse panel. all fuses good. Also as I noted before I replaced the parking safety switch located on the transmission.
Any advice or guidance would be appreciated. Fixing this for an unemployed friend and I`m pulling out what little hair I have left. Thanks in advance.
