1994 cadillac seville SLS front strut question...?

I think my friends front struts are bad, seems to bouce alot more then before. I know the rear are air bags, but how can i tell from fronts? it looks like regular gas struts but i cant find any info online, only thing that comes up are front air shocks. So i dont know if it is air or regular gas struts. Thank you for the help
