Those of you that are familiar with the vehicle please help me. I've had to replace the chrome trim panels that are on the lower half of the trunk twice because they keep being stolen. These things are hard to find but thanks to Ebay and local salvage yards I've been able to acquire two more sets now here's the question. Is there any way to put them on and not have them come back off ever. I was thinking JB weld or getting them welded on at the bumper ( they overlap the bumper bout an 1/8 of an inch or so ) or possibly running screws through the bottom. I also thought about pulling the molding off the trim and screwing them directly to the body and using some kind of epoxy or glue to put the molding back to cover the screws. Any suggestions?
