1993 lincoln town car motor problem?

ok my car has 147000 miles on it. i have a full exhaust system with no catalytic converters. i just have a sudden loss of power and its weird its never done this to me. i also have a miss due to the egr valve (doesnt do it all the time just rarely) and just recently today i went to start my car and all it did was cranked until finally it turned over which it has never done it always kicks right on at a turn of a key any ideas and when it did kick over it sounded like it had a after market cam
