I wired power cable, rca's, and a remote turn on lead from the front of the car to the back to power a 460 watt 2 channel dual amp, and when i got everything wired up I put the negative terminal back in and turned on my dual head unit(XD7500) and nothing!!! not even the 4 speakers.. so i checked my head unit for any loose wires for about 2 hours, couldn't find the solution.. so i disconnected my power wire and anything else going to the amp and closed my trunk and went to park my car in the garage.. now the stereo wants to work all of a sudden! obviously only the 4 speakers since i took the amp out.. but why does it do that? I have not tried hooking up the amp again to check it with the trunk down.. so I do not know if that will work or not.. but could this be a grounding issue? What am i doing wrong here?
