1993 Honda Civic EX turns off?

I just replaced my battery a month ago and tested the alternator but my car turns on and after a while it will turn off. I thought it was the alternator because when i turn on my stereo my dash lights for my clock fades away and my headlights dim down as well. But the battery and alternator are good i got them both tested. Any Help Please?
 
Power wash your battery cables at BOTH ends. Either you have a bad voltage regulator, or you have incomplete cable connections or corroded battery terminals.
