I own a 1993 Honda Accord with 132000 miles on it. The car does have some difficulty starting in the morning, especially when it is cold. Sometimes, even when it does start, it idles poorly and shuts off. However, once it starts, it runs perfectly without any type of problem. Sometimes, after a rough start, the D4 light starts to flash. (along with the check engine light being on). I know this indicates some type of transmission problem, but I have not noticed anything happening while I drive. This happens every 4-5 days, and when I turn the car off and start it again, the lights are off. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
