1993 Ford f150 Side tank Fuel pump went bad. Help?

So my fuel pump just died, outa no where, it didnt stutter it didnt hesitate, when i shut the car off and then tried to start it again i had no pump. So my question is whats the difference between the side tank and the rear tank pump. all i can find on the internet is just Replacement aftermarket pumps but they are the same pumps for the front and the back tanks. i also have no idea what kinda numbers the pump had ( the psi or whatever) and i see that is a big thing with these aftermarket pumps. i dont want a top end pump i just want it to run like it did standard gas guzzling.
 
1 check if you have power to the back tank it may just be a relay. go to the your local parts store you will have to choose just the pump or the the complete Assembly. on a ford the pump and the screen is all you need. change the in line fuel filter at the same time. drop the tank and clean it out. you can tell if you need to change were you buy your gas by the junk you find in the tank. BE SAFE, TAKE YOUR TIME , and don't drink the gas ha.ha.
