I have a 1993 Chevy s-10 4.3 L v6 . it was working fine then it was stolen for a few hours and they let it die,( or my alternator happened to go bad). After i got it back it turned on first try drove for about 5-10 minutes and died, i got a jumped and it ran (turning on lights almost killed it every time i tried) for another 5 min then completely dead, i bought a new alternator and replaced it and can jump it and turn on and will run up and down the street, then dies when i put it in park. my battery is completely dead (which i was told could also be the problem) so i just got it charged at shucks/O'reillys and they said it's fine was just completely dead, I haven;t put it in yet but have to drive 45 min to get to where my car is broken down at, I'm worried it might be somethign else but am not well educated on cars please help!
