I’m helping my friend do a 4.3 engine swap he has a 4.3 vortec and the motor we want to place in the blazer is a 4.3 TBI. I have don’t allot of engine swaps before V8s in S10s and work on tons of old cars but fuel injection stumps me. the only difference I have noticed so far is the fuel injection on the vortec has two wires but the TBI engine has 2 injectors with 4 wires. my question is can I cut the wires for the injectors and reconnect them to run 2 injectors any advise will be great thanks.
