1993 Cadillac Fuel PumP?

I have a Cadillac and i replaced the fuel pump...but I cant hear the pump run,and there is no fuel coming out of the lines when I have it disconnected...it will crank but want start...any suggestions, or comments on what can help me in this situation! thank you in advance!
 
Did you check the fuel pump fuse ? Or the shutoff valve or sometimes called inertia switch. This switch shuts down the fuel system in case your in an accident. It is usually located in the trunk of the car. But look at your owner manual to check the location. try buying some starter fluid and spraying some in the intake after removing the air cleaner duct work to check if it is your fuel pump.
