1992 plymouth laser M/T vs 1989 ford tempo M/T?

The laser is $400, and te seller says it has some "details, but nothing too serious". The tempo is $450 and the seller says "no problems, except the passenger window will automatically roll down, but not up". Which is a better first car?
 
The Tempo is easier to work on, when something breaks down , and something will on $400 cars. Parts are also easier to locate..
